PURPOSE |
- puck support, defensive positioning, checking skills, scoring.

DESCRIPTION |
- game played 2 vs 1 in half the zone
- when the defender gains possession of the puck, a pass is made to teammate in the opposite zone and then the passer moves to that side to work with teammate
- the defender closest to the puck also moves to the opposite side to create a new 2 vs 1
- if a goal is scored, the goalie passes to the defender to continue the game.

- react quickly on transition, body positioning defensively, use stick to take away passing lanes, attack the net, stay on the move offensively.
